Wildlife Photography Around the House
A handful of wildlife shots from a quick trip to Austin for the Fourth of July last week.
My parents moved further out into the country a few years ago, so their house gets visited by quite a bit of wildlife. I spent quite a while photographing this lizard (a green anole, I believe) that runs back and forth along their porch several times each day and managed to get a couple shots of a female cardinal in up in a tree as well. I was mostly messing around and didn’t think much of the photos at the time, but once I got them up on the big screen back home, I’m actually really happy with several.
And holy crap, the Sony 100-400 lens just keeps blowing me away with how sharp it is. Click any of the photos to view full-screen.
