San Juan and Lopez Islands for Visit San Juans
On assignment for Visit San Juans, I spent a week camping and exploring San Juan and Lopez Islands, photographing what makes this corner of Washington so special. These islands sit in a rain shadow and get about half the annual rainfall of Seattle, but they’re still in the Pacific Northwest, so I got a nice variety of weather conditions throughout the trip.
