Fall in the Oregon Cascades

I’ve photographed Oregon a bit, but hadn’t really seen much of the Cascade Range there yet. So last week, I spent 5 days driving a circuitous 1100 miles from Seattle down to Crater Lake National Park and back with many, many photo stops along the way. I didn’t really know what to expect, but it definitely felt a bit different from parts of the Cascade Range in Washington that I’m more familiar with. In any case, it was a great trip; got some photos I love for the long-term Cascade Range project and found a handful of places I want to return to in different conditions and seasons.
