Spring in the San Juan Islands
8 days exploring and photographing two of the 170+ islands in Washington’s San Juan archipelago. The sun came out to play (in between chilly rainstorms) and the thermometer even cracked 55ºF, so it’s starting to feel like spring here in the PNW. I’d been to Orcas before, but San Juan was a new island for me and a delightful surprise. With wild foxes, rocky coastline, and picturesque lighthouses, I was in photographer heaven.
